Art Show at CSL

CSL artists Catherine Monserrat, Pamela Jensen, Debra Holloway, Faye Bates an Carol Berry present their beautiful art pieces in the lobby. Buyers, please contact the artists directly. They generously tithe 20% of their sales to the Center.

Saturday, Sept. 4 - 9:30-noon: Casa Milagro Gardening Project

This is a great opportunity to serve!

Casa Milagro is a permanent residence for mentally ill adults off of Route 14 near 599, just South of town. They have a lovely courtyard garden that is in dire need of maintenance. Join us on Saturday, September 4 from 9:30 am to noon (or part of that) with your gloves, spade and energy to make a more pleasant space for these loving folks.

Sunday, September 12 - 4-5:30 pm - "Dave Anderson Gets Getz" Playing Bossa Novas and Ballads of Stan Getz with Paula Eastwood, Vocals

Something about the rich characteristic tenor saxophone sound that everyone recognizes as Stan Getz has an uncanny way of coming through when Dave Anderson plays his jazz idol’s music. Anderson’s background credentials tout big names like Ella Fitzgerald and Freda Payne. Paula Eastwood will sing such tunes as,  “The Girl From Ipanema” and others. The legendary Getz was known for introducing bossa novas to American audiences. Dave's rhythm section will be Bert Dalton, piano, Jon Gagan, upright bass, and Cal Haines, drums. Saturday, October 9 – 7 to 8:30 pm – Fundraising Event
“Chakra Rhythm Drumming & Dancing – An Experiential Event” presented by The Santa Fe Harmony Center Drum Choir.
This will be a highly interactive concert and we will have rattles and other percussive instruments for attendees to play along with the drummers. We will also have a good sized area available for people to dance to the rhythms. In between drumming “numbers”, we will have native flute and other music. LOTS OF FUN!
The funds raised at this event will go to enhancing the sanctuary as a performance and event venue, for example to purchase a large projection screen.
Tickets at the door: $10 adults, $5 under 18 years.

Yoga Flow at CSL – Friendly Summer Fee of $5.00 per Class!

Mondays, noon to 1 pm & Wednesdays, 5 to 6 pm.
