Workshop: Cultural Character in Light of Complexity: Sustainability, Singularities, “Trump,” Cities, and “the 1%”
The Saturday workshop will follow-up on Friday’s discussion, focusing on diverse examples of the many challenges and crises we face whether individually at the psychic level or collectively at the socio-economic political level.

Geoffrey West, Ph.D. is a theoretical physicist, professor and past president of the Santa Fe Institute.  Named one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” by Time magazine, his recent book Scale focuses on the simplicity and universality underlying the complexity, diversity, growth and sustainability of organisms, ecosystems, cities and companies.

Ronald Schenk, Ph.D., Jungian analyst, has practiced and taught in Dallas and Houston for the last 35 years. He has written on a broad range of subjects related to culture, clinical work and postmodern depth psychology in four books, The Soul of Beauty, Dark Light, The Sunken Quest, and American Soul.
