Mid-Week Uplift

God is Infinite

The summer sun is heating up here in Santa Fe.  And so are the headlines…again.

Can you feel the energy of transformation in the works? For many of us it may feel as easy as a summer breeze or for many others, more like Dante’s Inferno.

This brings to mind the wisdom and poetry of Maya Angelou:

“There were people who went to sleep last night,
poor and rich and white and black,
but they will never wake again.

And those dead folks would give anything at all
for just five minutes of this weather
or ten minutes of plowing.

So you watch yourself about complaining.

What you’re supposed to do
when you don’t like a thing is change it.
If you can’t change it,
change the way you think about it.”

No matter where you find yourself this summer, remind yourself that you are a Religious Scientist and you have at your fingertips the spiritual tools needed to make the changes you want to see and be in the world.

And so it is. And so I Am. And so we are.
