GETTING HELP

SANTA FE CENTER FOR SPIRITUAL LIVING

Our philosophy recognizes our human frailties within the light of our Spirituality. Though much of the healing caused by these frailties may happen within our own personal guidance, as a community, we recognize that often we all need a helping hand. A significant purpose of our Center’s existence is being present for the healing of each other’s pain and distress.

Consequently, we train ordained and lay ministers (also called professional practitioners) for this purpose. Through the use of careful listening and positive prayer, our staff is available to anyone who is experiencing physical or emotional anguish.

Our professional staff identifies the causes for the pain and offers spiritual antidote for its relief. This is done through teaching, providing educational material and prayer. This is generally referred to as, “raising one’s consciousness.”

All of the sessions are kept non-judgmental and strictly confidential. Typically they are one hour in duration, though this may vary according to the severity of the situation. Though the positive prayer (also called a spiritual mind treatment) is free, there is a fee for the staff’s time. This is negotiable with each staff member. Please call ahead of time to make an appointment and learn about the specific staff member’s fee.

Most classes taught at the Center are certificated by the United Centers for Spiritual Living and may lead the students to become professional practitioners. But whether they do or not, the students will learn the philosophy and technique of doing a spiritual mind treatment, so they may be of healing assistance to themselves and others.
