Spiritual Practice of the Week: “Clearing the Way”

This week, as winter turns to spring, we are inspired to shake ourselves loose from the long nights and to emerge with the blooming buds. The spring equinox is a brilliant portal of return and renew. Maybe your recent months have been spent planning your upcoming garden, dreaming a new idea or tending to the deeply rooted needs of your soul. Maybe you have made lists, set dates and envisioned goals for the sunshine filled days ahead. Now it is time to make room for the movement of fresh energy.

This week, you are invited to clear away the stagnant cold from the shelter that separates you from the flowering outdoors. If possible, wash the windows of your home, wipe down the front door and sweep clear all of the entrances. Pull back the curtains and (if you aren’t too impacted by seasonal pollen) open a few windows to welcome in a crisp breeze of the many awakenings. Make way for the light to flow through your sacred dwelling, illuminating the things that bring you joy and support your thriving for this season ahead.

And if all of this sounds like too much for your own journey this spring, honor your slow emergence. The next time it rains, give yourself the gift of sticking your head out the front door and welcoming a deep breath of the very Source that brings life to all that surrounds you.

How will you clear the way for what is here now?
Our March 2024 spiritual practices are provided by the CSL Education Department.

Spiritual Pratice of the Week: Write Down the Pain

Dr. Michael Beckwith came forth with the statement, “Pain pushes until the vision pulls,” so that we might finally excavate the ways of being that no longer serve us and begin living into our greatest yet-to-be. Today, I’m writing about the pain of living with unworkability. One of the definitions of “unworkable” is something that… Continue Reading

Life is About Expression by Charles Hall

Life is about expression. We are all given a life to do with what we want. Far too many people limit themselves and their expressions to the influence and determination of outside forces. Far too many people feel stress, anxiety, and varying degrees of depression because they do not give themselves the freedom of living… Continue Reading

“It’s Time to Claim Your Freedom” by Eugene Holden

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve taken the time to share with you the thoughts, feelings, and guidance the Universe has shown me. What is true for me is that I have to live what has been given me from the Upper Room, the higher consciousness if you will, before I can share… Continue Reading

The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for… Continue Reading

“I Am Here to Collaborate With Others” by Marianne Williamson

I am here to collaborate with others. I am not for myself alone. A cancer cell is a cell that has gone insane. It has disconnected from its natural intelligence. It has forgotten that it’s here to collaborate with other cells, existing to serve the healthy functioning of the system of which it is part.… Continue Reading

Believe it or not, this is how we create. As you have heard me say in the past, the simplified version of the stages of… Continue Reading
