Music: Joel Atkins

Joel Atkins is a Singer/Songwriter/Percussionist/Drummer who has had the pleasure of backing up many of Nashville’s finest songwriters in local venues and in the prestigious Tin Pan South music series. He has shared the stage with Gregg Allman, Dickie Betts, Alex Lingertwood (Santana), Jim Peterik (Survivor), John Dittrich (Restless Heart), Victor Wooten, Bo Bice, and many others. He is a member of the Fleetwood MacTribute Band “World Turning.” Joel also works with Kids in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s “Words & Music” program. He is proud to announce the release of his first book “WhaleOsaur” ( based on a song written with Emmy Award winner Ed Tossing ), and a Kid’s CD titled “Kooki Aushi & Other Tales.” Joel is stepping out front now to share his music that will touch the hearts of all ages and delight the child inside of us all.
